The result of a garden consultation, this garden was a long narrow piece of lawn with no character and no impact. A slight change in level allowed us to install a stone feature step up to a slate paved area with Thyme grown in between. A Malus completes the focal point for the owners main front room and chairs placed on her front paving. This garden is a flower filled, tranquil space where the owner now spends a lot of her time. Murraya and Japanese Box hedges form the structure of this garden, with cottage favourites such as Lavender, roses and salvia providing colour all through the season. The strong rhythm of the pavers in gravel, the hedges and the stone walling carries this garden through in the cooler months.
