The result of a garden consultation, this is a simple but effective use of space in this small courtyard which is a direct extension of the home. The space now brings the outside in and has created another ‘room’ for this small but architecturally designed cottage. A low maintenance Millboard deck with a Crepe Myrtle inset provides much needed shade to make this courtyard cool and inviting in summer. Pots were placed to make impact and green up the space further. Plants include Pittosporum tobira, Cycas and Cotyledon Silver Waves. Gardenias in pots provide summer fragrance.
