A busy family garden for relaxing and entertaining.
The owners wanted to update their pool and re-use their existing paving, as well as create a new weatherproof outdoor entertaining area that married with the existing architecture.
2 small children needed room to play and with the owners being very busy with work and family life, consideration was given to ease of maintenance.
Large street trees dictated the shade and root competition in the front garden where a millstone water feature was added. A back alley and higher neighbours necessitated a solution to the back fence which was also adjacent the pool. Existing buildings that were to be retained had to be worked into the overall design.
